Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Legislation requires that you must have a USI to receive a certificate for nationally recognised training. Our partner Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 can only issue a certificate once they have received your USI and all relevant course work is successfully completed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you still training during COVID 19?
Yes, we are still delivering training!
We closely follow Government advice to reduce risks including social distancing, hand hygiene, wearing of masks, provision of gloves to students, and changes to course delivery (see below). Additionally, modified practical face to face assessments, smaller class sizes, and single-use training aids add to the safe delivery of courses.

What should I do before I enrol in your course?
Before you complete and sign your enrolment form, please be definite that you have read through the Student Handbook and understand all of its contents. By finalising, signing, and submitting your enrolment form, you are acknowledging that you have read this handbook and understand all its contents.
What are my training options?
Online learning prior to the face to face training and assessment. This delivery method suits all learner styles with topics and assessment requirements covered in the face to face session.
Online Training with Face to Face Assessment - Enhanced online (EOL)
This delivery mode suits returning students who are efficient in online learning. All the theory components of learning and assessment is completed online through the Training Desk learning platform (see below). A short face to face practical assessment completes the course requirements. Select here to view video on EOL.
Face to Face
All elements of the training and assessment are delivered face to face. The duration of the training is the longest in this delivery mode and allows maximum opportunity for student and trainer interactions.
To enable this delivery mode students must hold a current certificate in the course being delivered. It involves blended delivery with face to face training and assessment. No pre course work is required.
What is Training Desk?
Training Desk is a purpose-built platform exclusive to Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 that offers streamlined course management, enrolment process and quick certificate delivery! After enrolling, students will have access to Training Desk! After logging in, the dashboard allows easy access to their own profile, course details, current and past certificates. What is Enhanced Online Learning (EOL)?
A training delivery mode that enables students to enrol online and complete self-paced theory and assessment online. A short face to face practical assessment demonstrating skills completes your training requirements. It is recommended that you have sound internet coverage to complete EOL training. I have trouble getting on/off the ground - what can I do?
If the unit of competency requires you to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor we can provide you with aids to assist you lowering and standing such as a chair, completing the assessment privately and allowing extra time. If you are unable to complete the assessment task a certificate cannot be issued. To obtain the nationally recognised certificate we must see that task performed.
Where do I find my rights and responsibilities?
How do I complete my pre-work?
After your enrolment, you will receive an email inviting you to register at Training Desk platform. You will then proceed to your newly enrolled coursework. If at any time you encounter problems contact us for assistance.
What do I bring to the course?
Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for completing practical assessments including on the floor
Pen and paper
Identification - photo
Your USI number
A drink bottle of water
Snacks/lunch if desired
My responsibilities for my face to face training?
Punctuality! Recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes early
Respect to all persons
No offensive language or aggression
No smoking alcohol or drug use
Engage! Ask questions if you're unsure - seek clarification!
I haven’t finished my pre course work!
Pre course work should be completed prior to the day of training. If you don’t complete it you may have some difficulty with the content and may not be able to be issued a certificate.
How old do I need to be to do your course?
We recommended that students should be over 14 years of age however there is no minimum age. Please contact us if you are considering enrolling a child under 18 years of age at contact us.
When will I get my certificate?
If you have completed all the requirements of your training you will receive an electronic Statement of Attainment from Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 usually within 48 hours. If your certificate is urgent or you require a hard copy please contact us to arrange.
Do you need additional support to complete your course?
Please contact us to discuss your individual learning needs or if you require additional access to educational and support services. This knowledge will enable us to provide the best training and assessment services for you.
It's important to acknowledge that there is a physical requirement to complete 2 minutes of CPR on the floor with an adult resuscitation manikin and 2 minutes of CPR on a firm surface with an infant resuscitation manikin.
